Bedroom Detox

When it comes to sleeping well, your bedroom can have a huge impact on the QUALITY of your sleep. Taking a few steps to create the right sleep sanctuary can have a powerful affect on how well you sleep. Here are a few things to think about:
• Is your bedroom cluttered and dusty?
• Is it cool enough? It should be no more than 22C/72F
• Is the air circulating?
• Are there any live plants in your bedroom? Plants can filter the air and provide clean oxygen, be mindful to select the right plant based on the sun the room gets.
• Is it dark enough, especially in the spring & summer months?
• How many electronics are in your bedroom? Things like a smart TV, computers, cell phones or cordless phones, wireless router, etc.
• Is it time to upgrade your mattress for a better sleep? I couldn’t get a good night sleep for a number of years; I didn’t realize we had a defective new mattress! 🥱
These may seem like small things, but in fact, can be very disruptive to your sleep! If you’re not getting a good night sleep the above list is a great start to creating the right sleep sanctuary your body is craving.
